What we are fund raising for

Despite the hardship of the global pandemic, Belle Vue have continued to raise funds for The Christie Charity. Which has been recognised by a charity coin on their recognition wall. We have contributed to The Christie to continue providing world-class care to their patients and their families. These funds helped the completion of the Christie at Macclesfield in December 2021, funded by the charity this new hospital will provide 46,000 patient appointments each year, delivering care closer to home for over 1,500 people a year.

During the pandemic the charity centre had to close and postpone all in-person fundraising events. This saw the charity’s income reduced by 25% and has dramatically decelerated the success rate in raising vital funds to support their ground-breaking projects.

As the new financial calendar begins, in-person events are able to take place again and are hopeful 2023 will be a great year for fundraising with team Belle Vue cycling to Blackpool (and back) to raise funds once again on Sunday 9th July 2023.
