The sessions delivered by the Grosvenor Museum Learning Team are designed to tell the stories of objects in a way that engages and inspires visitors of all ages. Our unique collection of real and replica ‘handling’ objects spans 2000 years of history.

In addition to schools, we work with families, special interest groups, students and other Lifelong Learners. All our sessions are designed and delivered to ensure that visitors have fun and develop confidence using evidence to explore the past.

Creative activities develop speaking and listening skills, using history as the main area of study and encouraging cross-curricular links to develop a thematic approach to learning in pre- and postvisit school work. We develop new sessions based on predicted trends, the visitor request, visitor evaluation and temporary exhibitions.
