2. Spare Fleet Vehicles
We supply school bus transport on 50 school contracts in Greater Manchester and Cheshire. These are school contracts for TfGM and also Cheshire East and also some private schools. We also supply all the swimming baths transport in Manchester, Stockport and Tameside. We have a 10% spare fleet capacity providing 5 spare buses for emergencies.
So if a bus goes down unexpectedly before your school trip we just roll out a spare bus. We have the same spare capacity on our coach fleet too, along with hundreds of partner suppliers to cover increased capacities in peak season. We have a 5 Star Promise for every passenger to ensure reliability.

During the Covid Pandemic on some days we had ten drivers going down with Covid and not coming into work. But the show had to go on. Students still needed to go to school, go to swimming lessons and go on educational day trips as the pandemic eased. But the public and our team were still vulnerable to Covid. How did we manage? We had spare drivers who drop onto valeting if not utilised. We also have 7 PCV Licenced drivers in our offices as emergency back up including the directors.
