What we do

- School transport (daily school bus routes)

- Stage Carriage Bus Services across Stockport and Cheshire
The Role
As a Vehicle Mechanic, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our fleet of modern buses and coaches - safe, reliable, and road-ready.
Key responsibilities:
- Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Preparing vehicles for MOT and ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Responding to breakdowns and carrying out necessary repairs
- Maintaining accurate service and repair records
- Working as a team and employing your skills across the fleet
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a mechanic (HGV/PSV preferred, but not essential)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- A commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent preferred)
- A desire to learn new skills, progress and add value to the team

What You’ll Bring:
- Full UK PCV (Category D) Licence
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Driver CPC Certification
