Ness Botanic Gardens has been a favourite day out for schools across the North West for a long time. We have a wealth of plant and pond life within a safe environment.

Guided Visits

By using our Education Services you get the most of your visit. Trained guides with teaching or horticultural backgrounds will take you on a guided tour. These often include games, hands-on activities and question/answer sessions making learning fun

Bookings

These will be confirmed if the Gardens and a guide are available. Please provide a choice of dates as summer is especially busy.

Visits can be made throughout the year to compare seasonal variations in the Gardens. When booking, you will be asked for your topic requirements and class details to enable us to tailor your day.
