With the popular permanent attractions of The Victorian Gallery and Lark Hill Place, as well as the ever changing temporary exhibitions, there is always something for everyone at Salford Museum and Art Gallery, from hands-on activities to modern art!

For Key Stage 1 pupils we have developed the 'Lark Hill Live!' package. We aim to bring the street to life for the children by introducing them to the colourful characters of Lark Hill Place, recreating the ambience of Victorian times.

For Key Stage 2 pupils we have developed the 'Time Detectives' package. We aim to introduce the students to the Victorian period using handling objects.

Art Sessions
Salford Museum offers a programme of art workshops for Key Stage 2. Choose a theme and your class can have a session with a professional artist.

Self guided visits
You are also welcome to bring your class on a self guided visit to the museum. We would ask however that you ring to book this visit in advance as this way we are able to check that there are no other groups booked in on the day you require.
